Carol Jackson is an artist who received a BFA from UCLA (1987) and a MFA from the Art Institute of Chicago. Primarily working in sculpture she has had shows devoted solely to her work in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, and Naples, and been included in exhibitions in Hamburg, Milan, Basel, and Miami. She was a participating artist in the 2014 Whitney Biennial.  As she is based in Chicago, her art can frequently be seen locally. In fact, she will be having a solo exhibition at Corbett vs. Dempsey in December. Carol’s home with be the Department of Visual Arts (DOVA) where she will be teaching in the Arts Core.
